Ruling Dynasties of the Ningo
Patricians and Dynasties:

In the history of the Ningo there has been ten dynasties of Patrician to date; the newest is the Third Cornelia Dynasty. Agostino of Family Cornelia the current Patrician. The following lists the various Dynasties and the reigns of the various Patricians. Any significant events are also noted.

  • Pre-Dynasty - First Furia Dynasty
  • Gratianus - 395-410 - 395-Independence. 400-The Night of Flames.


  • 1st Dynasty - First Aimilia Dynasty
  • Patrician Octavianus - 410-415 - 410-Official founding of the Ningo Kingdom.
  • Patrician Aelia - 415-420 - 415-Became the first female Patrician, passed the law allowing men or women to take positions of leadership among noble Families. This led to a rapidly growing trend of women being allowed to perform roles previously viewed to be male-only. This trend would eventually lead to gender-roles ceasing to exist entirely.


  • 2nd Dynasty - First Cornelia Dynasty
  • Patrician Bellona - 420-430 - 420-Cares for the three children of Patrian Aelia until they reach maturity. Raids on the two Rivers begin. 424-Passes the law which made religious and social ceremonies as brief as possible after an attack by a pack of Canis Dirus/Dire Wolves killed three and injured two during a wedding ceremony. Guards also began to be posted at all social gatherings as a result also.
  • Patrician Ianuarius - 430-450 - 445-Passes a law raising the age of maturity for men and women to the age of 16 instead of the on-set of puberty. This was a response to observation over time that older girls tended to have fewer complications during delivery compared to younger girls, this results in increased chances of the mother surviving delivery, though does not remove the risk entirely. 449-The tradition of Guardians are created to replace the role of handmaidens, along with new social reforms including the removal of many of the stigmas attached to sex and adultery. An emphasis on having as many children as possible to combat high child mortality rates are also introduced at this time. The current traditions regarding children and the removal of a negative stigma toward bastards was established at this time as well, though the negative stigma towards adulterers remained.
  • Patrician Laelius - 450-455 - 451-Requirements of nobility is changed to emphasize survival over bloodlines, this also creates the opportunity for plebians to potentially become nobility. This was done to promote long-term survival of the people and culture, also to create new nobles for genetic diversity. This also creates the current standard for determining who reigns as Patrician as well.


  • 3rd Dynasty - First Valeria Dynasty
  • Patrician Manlius - 455-462 - 457-The title of Patrician is made the official title of the ruler of the Ningo people. Originally the name of nobility among the Old Empire, starting with Patrician Octavianus, it became a name popularly used by the uneducated masses for their ruler. It was in this year the word was formally adopted as the official title for the role.
  • Patrician Maia - 462-465 - 464-Laws concerning multiple spouses are introduced, along with the regulations and limits which apply to them. Adultery laws were updated to reflect multiple marriages, reaching their current legal status. This was done to further improve the chances of having as many health children as possible, also it granted more freedom for political marriages.


  • 4th Dynasty - First Osini Dynasty
  • Patrician Juturna - 465-470 - 466-First Patrician to have multiple spouses.
  • Patrician Nonus - 470-480 - War for the Abundant Lands.
  • Patrician Quintina - 480-490 - 488-End of the War for the Abundant Lands. Dragons Pass. 489-raids on the south resume. Laws pass setting a minimum requirement of literacy for all Ningo, this is done to improve survivability, also helping to rebuild the population after the losses from the war.

  • Patrician Paulinus - 495-500


  • 5th Dynasty - First Fabia Dynasty
  • Patrician Regulus - 500-515
  • Patrician Valeriana - 515-528
  • Patrician Adeodatus - 528-534 - Only Patrician to proclaim the end of his own Dynasty while he still had living descendants, allowing a new Dynasty to start.


  • 6th Dynasty - Second Cornelia Dynasty
  • Patrician Naevius - 534-555
  • Patrician Laurentia - 555-567
  • Patrician Balbus - 567-590


  • 7th Dynasty - First Antonia Dynasty
  • Patrician Felice - 590-600
  • Patrician Benedetta - 600-620
  • Patrician Concetta - 620-630


  • 8th Dynasty - Second Valeria Dynasty
  • Patrician Constans - 630-640
  • Patrician Aetius - 640-645
  • Patrician Felicitas - 645-650
  • Patrician Aegidius - 650-659
