As beautiful as an illusion, a woman sent by the Patron Onimoria into the Kingdom of the Isles to guide the Queen and its people to glory, is sitting on a wide sill. She is settled on a comfortable pillow, letting a long and transparent pale silk of her skirt to flow on the ground. The gown is lucid above too, hidding just her breasts a little bit,but leaving the belly bared. There are some kind of strange drawings on her belly.
She looks quite thoughtful, staring through the window into the gardens enlightened by a warm sun.
Madalyn enters, a wrorried expression on her face. She makes sure her guards and handmaidens stay some distance away before she approaches. "Royal Mother, might I have a word with you?" she asks, bowing her head politely to Nimoria.
Nimoria slowly and thoughtfully turns her gaze to the young princess. She studies her for a moment, before gesturing towards a pillow in front of her, "Of course, your Highness..."
Madalyn takes the offered spot, sitting there stiffly as if unable to get comfortable. "Lady Adara has given me some ... distressing news - news that ... well that I do not want to believe is true. I was wondering if I might be allowed to see the queen, before I start performing any duties in her name."
The Royal High Oni frowns slightly. She does not give the answer for awhile. Instead, she just turns her gaze away, looking up into the sky through the window. Nimoria inhales deeply, then sighs. "Your mother is sick, princess... She has to rest. Why you need to meet her? She should rest from all troubles of our Kingdom, unless it is very important and just the Queen could make adecision."
Madalyn slumps a little, looking very sad. "I just ... can not imagine my mother like that. She has always been so strong, so capable. I imagined that I would have so much more time to learn before there was any chance of my ruling, if I ever even did. I suppose that I hope that if I saw her, it would help give me the resolve to do what the kingdom needs of me, even if I am not sure I am ready for it."
"My child..." Nimoria extands her hand, "It is sad for me to hear and it will be even more sad for you mother... You still do not acknowledge your mistakes. You had to try to learn things since the moment you learned how to read. The Queen's illness shouldn't be the reason for you to suddenly try to do something good for your Kingdom. You are the princess and the heir. The well of your Kingdom has to be your main goal..."
Madalyn winces as though slapped. "My apologies, Royal Mother. It was foolish of me to wish to see my mother. I will leave you to what I am sure are more important matters than indulging my whims. There is a council meeting that I should prepare for anyway."
"Oh no... Please... Visit your mother,if her bad health will be a reason for you to start looking into the Kingdom's matters seriously..." The woman drawls and turns her gaze away from the young girl. It is obvous, that Nimoria still remmebers how the princess ashamed her in front of the other King.
Madalyn rises from her seat, shaking her head. "No. I must take the kingdom seriously for it's own sake. That is the lesson here is it not? I will see my mother when you believe she is well enough for visitors, because it is best for the kingdom if she focuses on getting well again." With that Madalyn turns to go.
