"Then suddenly a young woman rose from the abyss of waters. She was white as snow and radiated some kind of ethereal but warm light. Everyone, whose eyes caught sight of her lowered their weapons immediately. The young woman looked so pure, so innocent, so beautiful, but her eyes, her grey eyes were full of sadness. The blood of victims of the war rippled through her snowy curls and fell on her frosty cheeks, as if she were crying." - This is the description of Onimoria, the true Patron of the Earth and the First Queen.
Almost the same description can be used to paint the picture of the birth of little Madalyn. The baby came to the world so silently and unexpectedly. It was only the start of the seventh month, when the first daughter of the Queen Abegayle decided to see the light. The midwife tells, that she have never seen such calm and quiet birth. Maybe, after giving birth to four sons, the Queen just did not feel pain anymore, or maybe the little baby was special. After all, she did not cry at all. She did not greet the world with a loud scream, like most babies. Instead, there was just a few drops of blood rippled across her snowy skin. The midwife tells, that she thought the girl was already dead, but the girl's tiny fists rubbed at her grey eyes. However, there was something very wrong. If you get a gift from the Patrons, you have to pay for it. Madalyn was beautiful, was the image of the Onimoria herself, but she was weak. People were afraid, that their heir might die any minute.
The girl has always had very sensitive skin, which is afraid of the rays of the sun. The allergy was very intense, and Madalyn barely left the walls of the castle during the day. If she wanted to feel the fresh air, she had to go for a walk, when the sun was hidden under the clouds or was drawn toward the horizon. Even at these moments she always had to have her handmaid and two Guardians of Onimoria beside. Now, she has grown used to all that and learned to cover her whole body in clothes, not leaving even an inch of bared skin, except her face. Only her pale face features are not afraid of the light.
While her physical weakness disappointed the Queen, Abegayle Onimus, it was not the princess's only shortcoming in her mother's eyes. The little Princess is a true philanthropist. In spite of being so fragile herself, she still wants to help the entire world. Maybe that is what makes all these common people so proud and loving of their heir, but at the same time, she has become quite an easy target for enemies, especially since, Madalyn is not only generous but very gullible as well. She believes that everyone around her is good and never lie, everyone can be trusted, and everyone has a heart as good and kind as Madalyn herself. A queen can't treat everyone as equal partners, as trusted allies. The world is not the colorful dream of the little child! Sadly, Madalyn is just such a little child and the Queen can't be proud of her daughter. It doesn't matter, that she is the image of Onimoria. It doesn't matter, that there are rumors of the girl being Onimoria herself, who has come to the world once more to save the people from the firm fist of Queen Abegayle, whose daughter reminds people more of Onimoria the true Patron of the Earth and the First Queen.
Proud or not, Madalyn's mother tries to do everything she can to get her daughter to see what the real world is like. The best tutors, ones taught the Queen herself, are now teaching the young heir. Sadly, the girl tends to daydream during the lessons, spending more time thinking about boys than about the throne on which she will one day have to sit upon. Each day she meets a new boy, and each boy is the love of her life. And, oh! How cruel the world is, that she can't just marry the one who she loves right now! She so wants to wear that pearly white gown! In the Queen's eyes, such distractions are fool's love, though, and nothing more.
Of course, every time Malayn cries and begs for her mother to let her heart love what she loves makes the Queen all the more disappointed with her daughter. Eventually her mother told Madalyn, that if she does not change, she will never sit on the throne. "For now, there is no heir to the throne of the Kingdom of the Isles," said the Queen, making a couple of her sons smile. However, these words finally had an impact and Madalyn has been trying to show at least a little bit of effort to learn for the Queen, and not just spend all of her time on singing, dancing, needleworking....

The princess, like many teenage girls, is prone to flights of fancy. Her moods and interests vary wildly from day to day, from swooning over a new love, to delving into a new hobby, to moping over some dictate from her mother. She is, however, consistently trusting, kind, and generous, or as her mother would probably say, gullible, foolish, and naive. She can be counted on to be friendly and helpful and holds to the belief that others will be the same, even when to most people it would be clear that they won’t be.
