Summary: Edris entertains a Two Rivers patron at the Night's Dream! | |||||||
|
A late evening it is already, and only a few people are lingering in front of the Night's Dream in the hope of being granted access to the establishment. Not all are allowed to enter, as they are carefully scrutinized by tall man in fine clothes, muscular enough to strike an impressive figure. It is just now, that a woman ventures outside, her fiery hair worn in a lax hairdo, her dress glowing in orange and yellow - a late night sunray indeed. Edris lets her gaze flicker over those waiting to be admitted, as she chats in hushed tones with the bouncer.
Marcus as many know him but he calls himself Slider has decided that his life has flashed before his eyes too many times and it's time to get a real whore, well at least see what they may be made of. Perhaps a bath and a few drink, and his fine looking clothes on, he may get in, he may not and he rather dresses well when things like this are needed. So here he comes, he see's the famous house and keeps on walking, deliverately and wondering why some are waiting in line.
Her head turns when Edris notices the man in fine clothes approaching, and something in the way he walks catches her attention. Her hushed conversation comes to an end, and waving the Two Rivers man over, she will greet him with a pleasant smile and a curious flicker in her grey-green eyes. "Good eve, M'lord. What can we do for you on this marvelous night?"
Marcus never to pass on a pleasant conversation with a fine looking woman, specialy in a brothel he smiles, it is a pleasant smile, like a man that smiles alot and does not mind to do so. " Oh Malady, by the Goddess, I did not expect such beauty before I even entered te establishment. " then he steps back and looks around and then comes closer again. " My apologies, here I thought I ended up in the gardens by accident and seen teh Goddess her self." he bows at his waist and then tilts his head. " As for what, I would like a bath if at all possible, with something warm to drink, maybe even pleasant conversation."
A pleased giggle leaves Edris's lips at the flattery and she lowers her gaze. "By Onimoria, you know how to speak to a woman, don't you." Her gaze flickers again briefly over his frame, as she considers his request. "I am sure a bath can be arranged, if you have the coin to pay for it." And what additional services may be required. "What was your name again, M'lord? You look foreign, judging from the clothes you wear."
Marcus looks at her and smiles. " Thank you and I have some coin, yes." then she asks for his name and where he is from. There is a grand smile then. " Oh, I am Marcus, Master Marcus and I have come from Two Rivers. I was asked to come along as an interpreter, since I have a knack for languages. Though in reality, I travel so much, I am really not from anywhere but from everywhere."
"Oh?" Her gaze flickers briefly at the offered information. "Master Marcus, welcome to the Night's Dream then." And there Madame Edris takes Marcus by the hand and leads him inside, past the curtain of heavy brocade. Some loud discussion seems to commence outside, as others waiting in line seem a litle displeased a foreigner is allowed in when they are not. One can only hope the bouncer will handle the situation adequately.
Edris meanwhile will offer the Two Rivers man a smile as she leads him onwards. "You are a commoner then? The upper floor is reserved for nobility, but as you request a bath... I fear we don't offer accomodations as these down here." She bites her lip, studying him for a moment thoughtfully. "Well. As you are a foreigner, and there has been some trouble lately, I am willing to make an exception. What kind of girl would you... request for tending to you during that bath, Master Marcus?"
Marcus to be all honest did not expect to even get inside the establishment, let alone be escorted inside. Then as he is told a bath may not be available he actually does look dissappointed. Though at the mention of been allowed he smiles brightly. " Thank you MaLady, you do sing songs that are worth of mermaids status." then at the mention of what kind of girl he thinks a bit and then smiles. " I would prefer one of intelligence, one that I can have a decent conversation with, one perhaps that has travelled other lands, something perhaps as one as me can have in common."
Edris is already leading him upstairs, passing through the area with a small stage and comfortable pillows. The area is dimly lit with torches at this hour, but a keen eye can certainly glimpse activity here and there, shadows of human forms and telling noises, that are hardly drowned completely by the melody a barely clad maiden produces on the stage with her lute. His reply has Edris stop though and shoot him a glance. "Now, you do have some nerve. And very high demands, higher than I would have expected," she says, her brows raised. "I am not sure you can afford me. I am in charge of this place. Madame Edris Alachri.", she introduces herself with a slightly amused smile curling her lips. "We have younger women, if those would please you. But... I may be available for a conversation, if you so wish. Should other needs arise..." and there she smirks, "I may call for assistance, if I should feel so inclined. You're lucky. This eve has been quite dull so far. And from your clothes I can see...you must have travelled far."
They have finally arrived at a room of moderate size, Edris lights the lanterns in the room, and in the cozy flickering light more details become visible. There is a four poster bed in the center, with drapes of dark blue that can be pulled to allow for a bit more privacy if required. And a bath tub large enough for two can be found in a corner of the room. Tapestries on the wall depict dolphins and other animals of the sea. A servant is called and given the order to prepare the bath, as Madame Edris studies the foreign patron for a moment, then moving towards a small table to pour them both a bit of wine. "Judging from your clothes I assume you can pay. If you can't you will have to leave those clothes as payment," she remarks with an amused chuckle.
Slider looks at her as she seems to be amazed at his desire for company. Though she seems not to be too surprised but at least she is willing to partake in conversation. So he walks in with her and he does notice the room, he is admiring all and as she grabs glasses and a bit of wine for them he smiles. He pulls out a small purse and sets it on the small table, it clicks full and then smiles. " I have had some good business here on the Isles. As for conversation Madame." as he bows in respect. " I did not have the knowledge that conversation I desire was so expensive or that you be the only one qualified." there is a chuckles and then sighs , delighted. " You are indeed a beauty to behold Madame. Even you on occasion may be curious to see to your own pleasures." He does not look too out of shape, from the attire it is rather hard to tell.
Edris notices his impressed look as he takes in the room and she lets out a soft chuckle. "This is the Night's Dream, Master Marcus, and moreover the first floor. We have pretty high standards." Her eyes flit to the purse as it is deposited on the table and she walks over to take it, weighing it in her hand, before she puts it back onto the table and shoots the man an impressed glance. "Seems your business provided you with a lot of coin, hmm?"
The door opens and servants with buckets filled with steaming water arrive. It seems they have hot water ready downstairs, even at this late hour. Madame Edris watches them pour water into the tub, this will obviously take a bit of time. "Oh, I didn't say that," she retorts, smiling. "We have educated girls that are capable of philosophical discourses. It's just that I am bored at the moment. The coin will be for services I probably will not render. Not that I am picky. But well, yes I am. I am the proprietor of this brothel, and so I enjoy the privilege of picking my company." Her gaze flickers appreciatively over his frame. "But I admit you caught my curiosity. A commoner of Two Rivers, dressed in Golden Lion clothes." Now acknowledging for the first time, she recognizes the cut. "As for my pleasures. Well. I am seeing to those, rest assured." And there she gives Marcus a wink.
Marcus nods to Edris as she speaks his business has gone well for him and then listens to her words and nods slowly. " I see, so you decided to take this time so you would not be bored? You honor me Madame, I am truly grateful to have such company." then he see's the water come in with servants and he takes a look at them and then back to the woman. He does glance at how she stands, her elegance and how she presents herself, even listening to her speech he knows she has seduced men by a mere look, a bat of an eye and a turn of a hip. At the mention of his attire he smiles. " Truthfully, I find the Golden Lion attire most pleasing to my eye and others and they are light and are amazingly comfortable in the sun." then when she answers about her picking and she has her pleasures looked after he bows his head and smiles. " That is good to know, it be a shame for a woman of your status to not have pleasures taken care of." He has not touched the wine yet, though he still holds it in hand.
"They are indeed pleasing to the eye," Edris comments on the clothes of Slider. "And maybe even moreso because of the one who wears them, I suppose." Taking a sip from the wine as she eyes him over rhe rim of the glass, her lips curving a little upwards as if she were sensing the hesitation on his part. Servants come and go, filling that bath tub, but she seems to be little disturbed by it. "Hmm, you think so?", she adds, in regards to his last comment, before she moves over to the bed, sitting down on it. "Won't you join me over here?" Edris asks with a smile and a sparkle in her grey-green eyes. "So... you've been to the Golden Lion? How exciting."
Marcus smiles and nods. " Yes, they do tend to show a bit more, though I am sure that if you were in attire of the Golden Lions, they be coming around for miles to take a peak at such a stunning woman, well at least her eyes." then as she seems alittle hesitant about the bath, he raises a brow, watches her head to the bed and once asked to go and join, of course he does, it looks like a very comfy bed. So he takes a seat, back straight and then smiles as he looks to her eyes, he has to admit, they are captivating. "Oh yes, been to many places, myself and a friend went on a grand adventure, it was educational to say the least but nothing compares to the Isles, it is truly a great place. Your self, have you been any where else if I may ask?"
The bath is still being prepared, and she is still here, right? No real hesitation on her part really. Edris smiles when he sits down beside her. Holding his gaze, with her captivating eyes. "Oh yes. The Isles are my home. But I've been to the Golden Lion as well, some time ago." Her reply maybe a bit vague there, as her gaze seems to drift off for a brief moment. "You are a well-traveled man. I am impressed.", she then continues. "Have you seen all the the Isle of the Crown?" The remark added in a casual tone as she looks once again to the bath tub. The servants are really hurrying to get it filled, at there is also a bit of steam visible from the hot water that is already inside of it.
Marcus does not look away, he can stare at them eyes for as long as she lets him, which is fine until she looks away for that brief moment. " I see, must of been a great visit, since you admire their attire." or was it him she was admiring, you never know. " I go where the wind takes me Madame, I am a leaf in the wind and I go where it goes. Though stuck in Two Rivers for a time because of the plague, was irritating, I was caged and I do not like been caged." then he thinks a bit at her next question. " I sailed for a bit, seen many and set foot on some but so many islands, I would take years to see them all and find them, though, it be a grand adventure."
"Oh it was quite educational, in many ways," Edris replies with an enigmatic smile, choosing perhaps by chance the same phrasing like Marcus a few moments before. She'll nod to his comments about the plague and the sailing, her eyes narrowing maybe a little as she shoots him a playful glare. "I was referring to your current visit here...? Have you had a tour of the Isle, to admire all of its beauty?" Her eyes shift again to the tub, and it seems, the servants are almost done. "Master Marcus," the fiery-haired beauty begins, nibbling on her lower lip. "Would you agree, if I joined you? In exchange for interesting tales of your exciting life? You know,... maybe I could use a bath too..." She tilts her head to the side, giving the man by her side a playful smile.
Marcus nods to her, noting she used the same wording he gave her. There is a grin but it turns into a smile quickly. Then there is a slight chuckle. " I wish I could have Madame. With the incidents that occured, we could not have gone no where really, other than this Isles. I would have enjoyed tit if I had, I do enjoy the Isles." then as the bath seems to be done she asks him questions and he nods slowly and there is a glint, something of excitement in them. " Madame, it be my pleasure, I had dared not ask but no I am flattered, I be delighted, please do join." as he smiles to her.
"Is that so?", Edris inquires raising a brow as she studies him, her lips still curled into that playful smile, as she leans back on her elbows, tilting her head a little. Shooting him a challenging glance, perhaps? "You seem like an experienced man to me, Marcus. Maybe you could... help me out of this dress?" Her grey-green eyes shift briefly towards the door as it closes behind the last servant, and she chuckles softly, as her attention returns to the Two Rivers man in the Golden Lion attire. "So...?" And there her gaze drops to the laces at the front of her dress, as she bites her lower lip.
Marcus has never denied a woman to be disrobed by him and why should he start now. There is a smile and even as she says 'so' he is already moving smoothly, with a practice ease, though he does not go directly towards the laces, he does reach for them with a hand but then his finger traces the curve of her hip along her waist, he moves slowly, smiling at her, on occassion glancing at how her body curves within that dress. He has already taken her measurements, with a practiced eye, he continues to move around her, his finger lightly touching still and finally he stops in front of her and smiles even more. " You are a woman to be feared, with a look you had me, subtle movements you have moved me and your seductive words makes me admire you even more. " As he whispers the words, his one hand starts to unlace the dress. He has done this before, that is indeed by the way he speaks and then way he moves, his light tugs, touches and that smile. He will help in any way he can and he will admire her at every step.
One can say many things about Edris, but she certainly does know how to entice a man. Her eyes will follow his fingers, as they explore her curves, her lips curving even more into a lascivious smile. "Do not fear me, Marcus," she replies softly as she raises her gaze again to lock with his, moistening her lips. "I am not here to harm you, you know?" And there she chuckles softly. "I know why I prefer men with experience. And I feel I shall not regret my decision to keep you company." Those laces come undone, and now she will take over, rising to her feet slowly. Her dress makes a low rustling sound as she slowly lets it drop to the floor, the orange and yellow fabric revealing her comely curves. Then as she moves to pick up the dress, to deposit it over the back of a nearby chair, Marcus may glimpse some marks on her back. But it is really hard to tell in the dim flickering light of the lanterns at the walls.
Marcus watches her as she stands up and removes the dress, there is no looking away, there is no shyness, he admires her though, what man would not. So he watches her, even manages to see or maybe glimpse at something of interest but lets it go as quickly. Now he stands up and approaches her, if she requires any more help, perhaps to go in the bath, he will extend his hand to help her get in. Over all he smiles. " If all women would move as so, no man would rule any where, that is my own opinion and I be alright with that."
When Marcus comes closer Edris will smile at him, her grey-green eyes sparkling, it seems she is enjoying this moment. She will not really require any help, as she has already disrobed, maybe it is Marcus who needs asistance to get out of his fine Golden Lion clothes. His remark has her chuckle softly in amusement. "You know, Marcus, that is the secret truth. It's the women who rule this world. In your lands probably not as openly as here,.." And there her voice trails off as her fingers reach for that vest. "Now let me take care of that..." Murmured softly as she takes the garment off, and puts it over the back of another chair, yep she doesn't plan to ruin his clothes. The shirt will be next, she'll take her time though, enjoying the feeling of the fine silken fabric between her fingers, before she looks up and gives him a smile.
Marcus has no trouble standing there letting her remove his clothing, he does note she takes care for them and he is appreciative of that. She may notice that once she takes the shirt off, there is a two inch patch or covering his left breast, near the top and almost the same on the other side but only about a inch square. It looks rather new and recently dressed. As more clothes come off, she will note he has a few scars here and there, most seem artifical now. This man keeps in top shape, not a ounze of excess skin or flabiness, he is not extremely muscular but corded for agility and swiftness. He is not shy, he will stand there and wait until she has helped him out of all his clothes, all the while smiling and admiring her.
"Hmmm? You've been to the sea?", the fiery woman remarks as she notices the tattoo on his right breast, a sailing ship on a sea, although the dim lighting makes it hard for her to make out the letters written along the bow of it. Her gaze will move to his scars next, studying them curiously for a moment, her fingers even brushing them gently, their presence seem to be less of a surprise to Edris. But those fresh patches catch her attention. "You got into some trouble lately, hmm?", the woman inquires with a bit of concern in her voice as she raises her gaze to Marcus face. "Do you think a bath will be okay for you, Marcus?" Her hands move to his pants, she'll pull them down gently as she lowers herself into a kneeling position, her grey-green eyes staying fixed on his as she looks up to him.
Marcus nods, now remembering his tattoo. " Oh yes, I love it, enjoy it and the freedom of it, it was one of the ships I sailed in a few years back, not sure if she is abouts no more." then she asks about the recent events and trouble. " I will say, that yes I have. Though this was rescuing a Two Rivers healer that got lost in the woods." then thinking and his pants come down, he stands there naked, he seems not to be embarrassed, simply taking it in stride like nothing can scare him. " There are dangers in all places, I just happen to run into such a place." then he steps out of the pants but still keeps on looking at her eyes, though who would not.
"The same healer that was arrested...?" Edris inquires softly with a bit of surprise. "What happened?" She rises again and looks towards Marcus, her hand moving to take his to lead him over to the bath tub. No embarrassment on her part either. His remark elicits a soft chuckle. "Oh, this is not such a place, believe me," she says as she slips into the bath tub, not too hurriedly but taking her time, because the water is hot and steaming. "So you get into trouble often? But stay alive? You are an impressive man..." the fiery haired woman says, her hands moving to fix her hair, tying it to a knot at the back of her head as she does not intend to get it wet.
On the way to the bath tub Marcus may have noticed the marks he maybe has glimpsed already before, as her back is halfway turned towards him. All of it is covered with a net of scars, old ones they may be, her skin there a bit uneven, but deep enough to stay around.
Marcus nods. " Yes, same healer. I decided it best that someone watch her to make sure any more accusations are valid, plus she knows little of what transpires in certain places." then the mention this place is not he chuckles lightly. " That I may believe but I stay alive by been cautious." then at her question about trouble he smiles. " I have learned that staying alive is harder than it looks and most time trouble finds me." he watches her tie her hair into a knot and he tilts his head to the side, admiring her like any man would and should. Then there is a slight frown, he looks to the water and making sure he does not sink to close to the dressings on his chest. " What happened to you in the Golden Lions Madame." he mentions on scars he has seen on her and then looks back to her eyes, observing them.
Edris listens to his explanations about Rayne and she gives a light shrug. "Little what transpires in certain places?", she echoes. "Now, what that's supposed to mean? And if I remember correctly there was a Master Marcus involved in that incident at Piradin? That must have been you then? I wonder,... what did you go there for? The Purple Ribbon is not worth the visit, really...?" Shooting him an attentive glance before her smile diminishes a touch at the question. "Golden Lion? How come..." and there she offers him a smile that looks both amused and impressed. "I see. You have keen eyes as well. But who told you I got my reminders on the back from there?"
Marcus hmms. " She has told me that only recently had she ventured from the woods in Two Rivers. She has a good head on her shoulders and as stubborn as any mule but she lacks the knowledge on how to deal with things, there is subleties that some have to take, she lacks it." so he puts that as nicely as he can about Rayne. A raised brow as she mentions knowing about him having a incident in Piradin and he smiles. " You must tell me your sources, they are good." then he licks his lips slowly and shrugs. " What can I say, I like the thrill of testing my limits and plenty of limits can be done in Piradin. As for The Purple Ribbon, that makes me wonder what kind of man you think I am." Though at the mention of his keen eyes and where she had it done. His smile is gone. " I travelled that land for a few years, came to understand their customs and you seem to have the markings of that custom. No other place will would have done that to you, most would have killed you." then leans back and closes his eyes. " If you like, I can find him and kill him for you."
"You are her protector then...?" Edris inquires, raising a brow as she shoots him an innocent glance. Chuckling at his remark of resources next. "Why, it has been the talk all over the Isle..." As for the Purple Ribbon she smiles. "You are man enough it seems to know what kind of place it is, hmm?" Obviously this had been some wild guessing on her part, which she feels must have come close to the truth.
"Kill him? For me?" This clearly seems to amuse Edris, but she shakes her head. "I feel that is not an option, really." Then she leans back her smile fading a touch and her grey-green eyes drifting momentarily away again. "Have you ever been to Selafuh?", she finally enquires, with a mirthless chuckle.
Marcus chuckles lightly and opens his eyes. " I have made myself for the moment, until she gets on that ship to sail back to Two Rivers." as for the talk he smiles. " I see, up until the theft of the Tapestry that is. Though I may or may not know enough, though I do like adventures." he winks at her then. " I travelled the Lands of Sefu and did pass through that city, which we rather moved quickly through to say the truth. I take it you ventured there in your time in that land?" though the option she feels that is not a option makes him grin. " Thinking to much of a hassle, dangerous, well known?" licking his lips again, quickly this time, still he admires her, still his eyes look to hers.
"You seem to care for her, in a way...", Edris persists for a moment, giving him an assessing look. "If this is the same healer who according to rumors spend the night with one of the knights of your land, I can pretty well understand why you come here, of all places." But then she shrugs, shifting a bit in the tub, to nudge his side gently with her bare foot. "Yes, you're the adventurous type, I'd wager. At least you'r adventurous enough to dress up in fine nobleman's clothes to come here." She smirks. "As for your question... aye, too dangerous. And not a thing my Queen would want, I suppose..." She looks up. "And you? Did you enjoy, what the Purple Ribbon had to offer...?" Inquired teasingly as she shifts again, moving over to where Marcus is, as she nestles up against him, careful not to get the dressed wounds on his chest wet. "Tell me... Are you afraid of me, Marcus? I am not used to be admired from afar, instead of touched. Especially when I am sharing a bath with someone.", she says, looking up to him with her grey-green eyes.
Marcus chuckles and then shakes his head. " I admire her, she has a temper but she does not give up. So alittle help to guide her on her way, even though she has fallen for a knight but that is what happens when you been away." There is a definite chuckle then. " Oh, that is no reason for me coming here, I've not ever had the funds to even attempt coming here before. Now a fine gentleman asked me for a favor and I did, negotiations went sour but his payment was to talk to me first." he shrugs then. He knows he is revealing much but this alone is no life threatening, not to him at least. " Once again we are used as pawns and we follow the whims of our betters...well better status if you look in that direction. I like where I am, to roam free and do as I please." then the raise of a brow as he thinks a bit on the next question and then nods. " Perhaps I did, at that moment in time. I live for the moment, mostly." As she moves closer his arm does reach out and if she is willing, he lean her against his chest but of course watching the wounds. He holds her close and smiles. " Madame, your a site I would behold most of my days if I could but since I cannot, I have enjoyed as much as possible. Plus, the conversation we have had has been rather enjoyable and it's rare I have a conversation like this with a lovely woman , in a bath and in my arms."
Oh she had already revealed a great deal too! If not some valuable hints who caused those scars on her back and the reason she could not demand revenge, at least all of her lovely body, which is now, in part, immersed in the steaming water of the tub. Edris chuckles softly. "Congratulations on your successful transaction then, Marcus. And no need to call me Madame when we are in a situation as this...", she adds, allowing him to draw her in against him, her head leaning against his shoulder. "I can in a way understand your view of life. I pretty much do the same, enjoy the moments Onimoria grants me, such as this one...?" And there she looks up her lips curving into a smile. "My position allows me a bit of freedom in some parts. So why should I not enjoy myself now and then...?" Her fingers gently brushing over the uninjured part of his chest, as her hand glides upwards to the back of his head. "A lovely woman, in a bath in your arms...? So... I have a question for you, Marcus... Isn't there one thing missing that will make this moment even more magical? Like..." And there she shifts again, bringing her face close to his. "... a kiss?" Grey-green eyes that are so close to his now sparkling as she looks at him with a slightly challenging smile.
Marcus does keep her close and at this time holding her feels good, nice in a way he has not felt in years. As she looks up at him and seen her eyes as well as her lips so close, he had thought of doing that before. " Thank you ...Edris, you have made the transaction easier. I am not sure if I could have had a pleasant conversation as this one with others within your home." it is hers after all, specially the position she has within it. " You are still a woman who has freedom, most than others , you have done much to get this far." as her hand moves to his chest he smiles, enjoying that touch, quite different from many other places, that is for sure. As she shifts he smiles, he looks at her facial feature, looks at her lips and then back to her eyes, his lips he licks quickly with the tip of his tongue. " Yes, a kiss, that is what is missing so far." then there is a glint in his eye. Just before he does bring her in closer with his arms. " If I wake up next , I'll be pleased, if I do not, worth it for the moment." Then he would kiss her. His kiss is firm, one of a man that takes control but knows what a woman would want and like, he tends to please, all this shown with a simple kiss.
"It was not that pleasant then, your transaction?" Inquired casually, as she shifts closer to him. Her lips curving even more into that smile now when she watches him moistening his lips. A low chuckle the reaction to his rather dramatic remark. "Why by all of Felaguria should you not wake up?" Shaking her head ever so slightly as she wraps her arms about him, allowing the kiss to happen and returning it, taking her time as she enjoys it as much as he does, probably. A kiss that is quite telling as it seems to go on endlessly, her eyes almost closing as she allows him to take control.
Marcus continues the kiss, it is a long kiss and eventualy the lips part and he smiles. " Edris, of all the women I have kissed, you have the most satisfying kiss so far, I could drown myself for a long time." He can feel her against him, his arms around her and he smiles a bit. " I am sure in your life, you have broken many hearts, I can see why, though I truly admire a woman who can do that." Then he kisses her once again, letting it linger not as long as the first but enough to keep the fires within going.
When that kiss is broken, Edris cannot help but return the smile, her eyes looking dreamy as she lets her gaze flicker over his face. "Oh I bet you have said that to many a woman, Marcus. You're actually quite versed with words. Not a thing I'd expect from a commoner.", she then remarks with a dry but not at all displeased chuckle. There is a gleam in her eyes as she looks at him now. "And I haven't broken many hearts. It is not what happens really, in my profession." Then she falls silent again when the next kiss comes, her cheeks slightly flushed, from the hot water or the heat, who can tell, really?
Marcus smiles even more and with a wink. " I may have but this time it's the truth." at the mention about words he shrugs. " I have a mind like a sponge, raely do I forget things." Then at her other comment he shakes his head. " So you say, so you say." kissing her once more time. Time for talk is over, at least for now. He will keep her close and kiss her as long as she allows.
"Hmm, a mind like a sponge? A rare quality indeed," Edris replies, shooting Marcus an attentive glance, but then that expression fades as she engages in another kiss. Breaking it when her gaze drops to the patches on his chest. "You know, without these wounds I'd really like to do more than kissing right in this tub, but as things are,... you need to be careful, or they could get infected.", she remarks softly and with concern in her voice. "Shall we take a little break and retire towards the bed...?" She offers Marcus a playful wink. "Or would you like to go back to conversation... Which I'd also enjoy...? You know... we can talk over there as well. It is quite comfortable, the bed. Nothing like any bed you have ever slept in, I'd wager."
Marcus looks towards Edris and smiles. " I believe that is most acceptable and they may get infected indeed or I would have taken that rout myself a bit ago already." Then he would allow her to stand first, helping her in any ways to get out of the bath before he does himself. " you may be right, it may be the most comfortable bed I may lay in. As long as you join me, it would indeed be most pleasant..even if we do not talk much." there is a glint of want for her already, she is attractive.
Edris rises and climbs out of the tub, reaching for a blanket that lies on the table along with another she hands Marcus to dry himself. Wrapping her own blanket about her frame as she walks over to the bed, shooting him a glance over her shoulder, her grey-green eyes sparkling, her lips curling into a smile, before she clmibs into it, now partially obscured by the dark blue drapes. "You bet," he can hear her voice from behind those drapes, amusement and anticipation clearly discernible in her tone.
...To be continued here...
