The three ships on the other side of the Island won't notice the travellers, nor do they expect them to show up. So, no signs of commotion can be noticed.

The island itself has no predators, people will be able to get onto the coast without any troubles, unless someone would fall into the waters. There are sharks, and they will escort the company closer to the island.

Moshe has not said much as of late, though he has been thinking a lot, that is obvious. He nods and nods some more but at this moment it is obvious he is readying himself mentaly to do what is needed. As they get into the boats, he seems calm but the grip on his sword is obvious to who ever is looking at him. Once they do get off to the beach, he will get out and ready himself, sword out and shield as well. " Lead on, unless you want me to cause a distraction, which I will."

Not much in Zephan's demeanour points to him being nervous or even agitated. A detached calm governs his mien, with only the attentive sparkle in his steely blue eyes as they stare towards the shore when they pull closer indicating that he is aware of the possible danger. The boats will be pulled up onto the beach, once they arrive there. While the prince turns and shoots the bastard knight a glance at his suggestion. "Not so fast, Sir Moshe," he remarks coldly. A gesture is given to the scouts, who must have been instructed earlier. Without any further orders they disappear, one pair will head off to the Southeast following the beach, another will leave in the opposite direction. A last pair will head directly into the forest.

"Lady Adara was so kind as to provide me with some scouts," the prince explains to Moshe as his gaze follows them. "I should better make use of them now, to prevent us from stumbling into a trap."

Moshe looks towards the Prince and then nods. Obviously Moshe knows his limits and he respects athourity to a point, if they do not make sense, why follow them but so far teh Prince has not steered them wrogn as of yet. So Moshe stays with that far out demeanor, obviously he is ready for battle, ready to kill and protect as well as rescue the Royals.

Zephan meanwhile will walk over to a tree stump, in the shade of some more trees of the forest and have a seat. Some of the others will settle themselves as well, as they wait for the scouts' return.

Which will not happen before an hour has passed. The second group, that had headed to the northwest along the beach is the first to return. "Three ships, your highness," one of the pair says. "The men on board are mostly sleeping or drunk - at least they are not in any way alert."

The first pair that had eplored the other direction of the beach arrives a little later. "Three other ships are anchoring in the bay," a woman of the pair reports. "There are boats pulled ashore. Tracks going into the forest. I'd say there are twenty of them. But we only spotted three sailors by the boats."

Prince Zephan listens to the reports, a faint smile playing across the corners of his mouth. "Fine.", he comments. Before his cold gaze drifts to the bastard. "What are your thoughts?" If a bastard can have thoughts, that is.

Upon confirming and listening to the scouts Moshe thinks a bit and then looks to the Prince. "Thoughts there must be a meeting of pirates or comrad in arms with the pirates. So we are and maybe have two groups to deal with instead of the one that we thought there may be." then looking at the sorroundings and then back to the Prince. " Have one or two scouts keepign and eye on the ships, say two scouts on each group, with orders to come and tell us or find us if situations change with the ships. Then have one group of us head in the direction a group would have gone from one set of ships and the other do the same with the other set." he knows it is a trap or presumes it's a trap. " Still have a few back here, rowboats back at our ships, away from shore, still some men on the ship, just in case." then he pauses. ' At least that be my thoughts."

Zephan takes a moment to digest those. "Does sound reasonable," he finally admits. "We should wait for the last two scouts though. And... maybe those ships to the south have spotted us when we saw them approach the island." His steely blue eyes shift from Moshe to teh beach when another pair of boats arrives from the Nuru ship, which is reason enough for the Onimus Prince to rise to his feet and greet the arrivals. "Prince Zahir. There is not much to tell as of yet. There are three ships to either side of the island. My scouts tell me none of them are so far alerted to our presence."

The Nuru prince inclines his head. "Very well," he says, the Golden Lion accent in his Common obvious. "As this island is in your territory, Prince Zephan, I will trust your authority there. My sister, the Princess Zuhur, is still on board. So forgive me if I can only spare a dozen men. I cannot leave my sister unguarded."

Moshe nods to the Prince, already wondering where the other scouts are but he is willing to wait, not much longer but he will wait. As Prince Zahir arrive Moshe bows his head in respect and then looks towards the Golden Lion ship that Princess Zuhur is upon. There is a slight frown on his face upon hearing that but he says nothing, not his place. Though like the other Princess, he did come to speak to Zuhur and know her a little bit, a while back that is. Now he waits, as patient as a man like he is can be.

Zephan may catch that glance, Moshe shoots the Nuru ship. His brows are lifted momentarily, the distraction only brief, before he nods to the Golden Lion Royal and his smile fades, showing a hint of disappointment maybe at the number of reinforcements he may have hoped to be larger. "Good. We do not want the princess to be in greater peril than necessary," he remarks coldly.

Luckily for both princes the last group of scouts finally returns, before cold courtesy can turn into sarcastic remarks and even insults.

"Your highness," one of the men reports. "There is a group of pirates in the woods, thirty men strong. They are lurking in the woods, close to a camp of sorts. The camp is closer to the northern shore. A number of simple huts and tents. Nothing made to last long. There has been no interaction between those in the camp and those outside of it. I'd say..." And here his voice trails of, as if the man hesitated to give his opinion without being asked about it first.

Moshe did not notice the look that the Prince gave him but if he did he gave no indication he had. Now as the other scouts arrive he looks to them, listening to their story and scouting report and he waits, not to long either. " Come out with it, quickly as time may be of the essence." Moshe's voice cuts right through like a knife, a snape, sharp and tellign the man this is urgent. He says nothign else, he just looks at the scouts, waiting, patience gone now.

Moshe's harsh reaction seems to be all the encouragement the scout needs. And even Zephan cannot help but shoot the man an impatient glare. Which in the end will prompt the man to give his opinion. "I'd say these are two groups, those in the camp are so far unaware of the others. Might be in fact opposing groups, if you ask me."

The words of the commoner bring a smile to Prince Zephan's face, albeit this smile shows little mirth and look s more similar to a feral grin. "Good for us," he states, rubbing his hands together. "So. Into the woods we should go. And find out what these pirates are up to."

It is obvious that hearing there may be two opposing groups here, it may well be to and advantage. Though it could be more danger for the captives. What if one group does not know how valuable the captives are, end up killing them. There may be a grin on the Prince's face but there is a frown on Moshe's. " We must haste, you never know if they are going to atatck and harm the captaives, if indeed they are the ones holding the Princess and Prince for ransom." even as he says it, the impatience on Moshe is obvious, he needs to go and may go at it himself soon enough.

Little preparations are necessary, and so the members of the rescue mission move into the woods, led by the scout who had given his opinion. "So you suggest we should avoid the pirates that are lurking on the others?", Zephan murmurs to the bastard knight as they walk along with the others. Only three men are left behind, to watch over the boats on the beach. The Onimus continues meanwhile with his ominous musings. "We have no quarrel with the pirates," /we/ in this case meaning /the Isles/, "if we are lucky, this pirate captain who holds my brother and sister is an aberrant fool. At least he has broken our treaties."

Zahir Nuru leads his men along, following in the others' wake.

Moshe moves along as well, obviously looking for any trap if they be ambushed or at least trying to be aware as much as possible. As the Prince speaks he listens and then shrugs. "Your orders, but at least someone best watch them, we do not need to be taken from behind or surprised by the other group." at the mention of the abductor he shrugs. "He may be a fool, one that is looking to have an upperhand in his own political squabbles. Having taken a royal or two, may bring him fame within his kind or he may be looking to make a quick score and bugger off to better sea's or retire from what ever payment required." Which may be the island mentioned to him before.

Zephan considers Moshe's words. "Hmm. Difficult. I'd rather only have one opposing party to worry about, but what you say may be true. We have our scouts. We could choose the opposite direction from those lurking for our approach. Question is... how would they react when they see us attacking the camp?" Those in the camp he suspects of course to be those who hold his siblings captive. That hint of uncertainty leaves the proud features of the prince as he shakes his head. "No. We should speak with those lurking. I doubt they can approve of this pirate captain's action."

And here the prince of the Isles falls silent, frowning a bit at the number of uncertainties in the equation. As they continue and make their way further and further into the forest.
