Zuhur sees him but she chooses to ignore him until the last minute. She turns right on him and she grins "Hello". She offers him a bright smile, and a flower from her garden. "did you know that that a white flower can help healing?" she asks as she holds it out to him.

"I have heard such, but is it all white flowers? Is it the whiteness that heals then? Does it mean that black flowers are poisonous? Are there any black flowers?" Nahdir smiles warmly, dressed rather informally today, and he holds out his left hand to take the flower offered.

The young girl laughs a little shyly "Black Flower?" she asks him "Maybe you can find one for me". She challenges her eyes look to those who accompany him on his visit and then back to him with a soft blink of her eyes. "Do you have any stories for me?" she wonders of him.

"Perhaps we could search for one together,' Nahdir says. "As for a story..." He ponders a moment. "Ah, indeed i do have a story, though it is long. Long ago, in the days of our grandfathers' grandfathers, Daoud Imamu was young, and started to explore the mountain where his family had settled at the base."

Zuhur looks to him as he speaks and she smiles with a sad little shake of her head "I am not allowed to have adventures." she whispers conspiringly. Her eyes a shade of blue not often seen in these lands hauntingly set in her dark features. She turns to give you her fullest attention.

"Ah, but if you and my younger sister were to have an adventure, well...I would have to escort you, yes? To watch?" His sister is two years younger than the visiting princess. 'But for the story. Daoud climbed the mountain, a carefree lad, exploring and exhilirating in being away from his family since he was all of ten years old."

Zuhur nods and she smiles softly as she watches him, listening to his tale. She is a good listener holding off on her gardening as she sits there listening in the soft moist earth.

"So Daoud would explore the mountain, escaping his parents' tutelage, and one day, he came upon a large bird. A great bird, resplendant with golden feathres, and red, all th hues of the clouds at sunrise and sunset.'

Zuhur oohs a little "dose such a bird exist?" she asks as she leans forward her knees get a little more dirty in the moist soil. She breathes softly looking to you "have you ever seen one?"

Bright blue eyes twinkle, and Zahir nods. 'Sometimes, from far away. But the bird was large, about as heavy as a ten year old child. But the bird was blessed by the gods as we were, Especially by Shah Kunar. And so the bird spoke to daoud after the form of men, promising adventures, but also danger, for there were those wishing to capture him."

Zuhur ooohs and she nods her head her black curls falling over her face .. she looks to you her own blue orbs gently shining a soft shimmer. "Oh.." she says softly"

"And so came a wonderful summer for young Daoud. The Bird of Fire spoke. Told of secrets and mysteries," Nadhir says, taking a seat next to the princess, and looking steadily into her eyes. "And the first, was that there was a hunter that sought him to take as a trophy, and that therefore they would have to work to outwit him. And it was determined that he should have learning. And so they flew, Daoud riding the bird, to a far oasis." nadhir pauses, "Did you know that it is very cold, high in the air?"

Zuhur tilts her head and she nods a bit as she looks to him. "Did Daoud freeze?" she asks as she watches you move closer she shifts her hands on her knees lightly listening, for his stories were always the best ones.

"No, he did not, for the bird was of fire, and so carried the heat of the desert with him even in the air,' Nadhir says. "And on their first trip, the oasis, he saw other wonderous creatures, like great cats, but the front half was that of a bird of prey. Fighting amongst themselves, seeking victory...and they turned on the bird and Daoud--for the bird had thought they were a different kind. But they escaped unharmed."

Zuhur listens and she nods as you tell your story. "It must had been a scary time, for the bird and Daoud..I am glad they escaped unharmed. I hope one day I can ride a bird."
