Evening has settled in on Piradin or rather late night as it were, when only the night owls or those up to no good are still active and awake. One aforementioned night owl is slowly wrapping up his nightly routine, closing a thick book and setting it on his desk before picking up the candle to make his way to his bed. Carther shakes his head and says to himself, "A lot of work to do..." His steps take him closer to bed and the restful bliss of sleep.

Without any sound, calm and peacful breeze kisses the cheek of Carther gently. Yes, it looks like a gentle kiss and then soft and gentle fingers run across the lids, making them so heavy, that Carther will have to close his eyes at least for a moment. It... It has to be the need of some sleep!

The dog of neighbours barks outside a bit irritated and a mumble of drunk man can reach the ears of Carther, but then deadly silence settles.

Carther has just put the candlestick on his nightstand when the strange feeling hits him and drags him down into sleep, the man just managing to curl up on his bed so he doesn't spend the night on the floor. Likely to be a cold night though.

There is nothing more sweet than honey and sleep. Though, sometimes the sweet sweet sleep becomes quite bitter, if the bad dreams are send to the person. Luckily, tonight is a good night for Carther.

When he closes his eyes, first, the man sees just darkness and a small small red point. That point is comming closer, closer and closer to the man. The closer that point gets, the more vivid it becomes. Finally, Carther can see that it is a wonderful and colourful butterfly. After one, follows many!

Suddenly Carther appears somewhere above a huge forest, surrounded by hundreds of butterflies and he is ridding on one of them!

Oh, these dreams...

Carther stirs only slightly on his bed for the dreams that come... inside the dream however, the man wonders at the situation he finds himself in. Riding a butterfly? Ok, either he ate something really bad for himself or he's just having a really strange dream... at any rate, the man just wonders and watches and just goes with it. His gaze tries to determine where these butterflies are going... and quite possibly why.

Butterflies were just flying all around the forest. However, it does not take long, before the butterfly of Carther turns to fly away, leaving the group of others....

And then suddenly the man is falling. The forest fades, butterflies disappear, even the sky disappears! Just darkness... Just darkness around the man and he is falling.

Carther can't see anything, just his own body. If he will look at himself, the man will see a long skirt covering his legs. His hands willbe old and wreckled, but of a woman...

Suddenly the view changes and instead of first person view,Carther becomes gawker and he can see how Priestess Leshara is falling into the darkness... She extands her arms to him.

Carther sees the skirt and hands, and the dream just gets even stranger when the view whips around to reveal he was seeing from Leshara's eyes. When the Priestess is falling into the darkness and extending her arms to him, a sadness takes over the new High Priest, but he does nothing. "She is already dead... in Marguerite's hands."

Suddenly Carther hears the sound as if someone splashes into the water. The body of the Priestess disappear in the darkness and the man can feel how drops of water lands on his face.

The rain starts. The wind raises. Quickly Carther's hair and closes become wet. The rains becomes even more heavy and a quiet thunder can be heard.

Four walls of the glass starts growing around the carther, forming a cage.

Carther starts as the Priestess disappears only for rain and glass to start forming around him, he stares into the distance, seeing what is there to be seen, but he asks, "Dalimina, what troubles you so to not sleep now?" His voice is concerned, asking a genuine question of those he calls his Patrons.

The man does not get any answers. Instead, the walls of glass grows even bigger around Carther and the rain becomes more heavier. The water starts filling the aquarium in which Carther is. The level of water becomes more and more high, when it starts reaching the ears of Carther.

If the man will try to swim or jump, he will be too heavy to do so as if huge stones would be attached to the man's legs.

The level of water raises even more, making Carther appear under water.

Carther stares as the aquarium continues to grow and then when he tests his legs and tries to swim in the water, when the weight reveals he can't, he stares quietly at the walls of his cage, even as the water submerges him. The man stares out into the water. Quietly holding his breath, even if he knows he may likely drown in his sleep. How strange a way to die.

Soon Carther will feel the lack of air and the fear may overtake him. The lackof air becomes more and more harder. Carther can hear the muffled scream of Leashara, "Drown their loved ones, and sink their ships!!!!..."

Then suddenly Carther hears heavy breakage and then the man feels how water starts dropping on his face for real.

If that will make him wake up, Carther will see an old branch of tree over his head, peeking inside his home. It broke through the wooden roof and the raindrops are falling on his face through the hole made in the roof.

The thunder is really loud outside, lightening is heavy. The flashes of the fire can be seen a bit further through the window and shouts of the man can be heard, "MORE WATER! There is a woman INSIDE!"

The wind whizzes through the spaces between shutters.

Carther snaps awake and when he sees the tree branch in his home, he remembers Leshara's screams for a curse and he immediately jumps out of bed, hauling for the door outside to see what the ruckus is about and the damage to his own home. His heart is rather pounding for what he just dreamed about.
