---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Summary: Nimoria meets princess Madalyn Onimus to inform her about possible secret betrothal to an old King. | |||||||

Madalyn is seated in a chair near the fireplace, practicing her needle work. She's not very creative as she appears to be trying to capture an image of the fireplace is cloth and thread.
The knock on the young Princess' doors should distract her from the work. The guard will announce arrival of the Royal High Oni Nimoria.
The woman remains as mysterious, looking like the Onimoria, when she came first time into the world. She's almost naked, being rolled in just a lucid pale scarf made out of silk.
The woman is carring a huge plate filled with slices of cantelope. She briefly looks at something in the Royal Passage, just nodding her head, before doors are closed and two women remains alone. If there are any handmaidens around or servants, Nimoria will ask politely that they woul leave.
Then she paces closer to the princess and offers a brief curtsy, "Your Highness, I know how you love cantelopes," she extands the plate for the girl, "Can I take a seat beside?"
Her voice is so soft like the song of nightingale.
Madalyn rises immediately from her seat when the other woman enters. She fidgets nervously a bit finding a place to set her sewing aside. Once it's on the mantle, she offers a slight curtsy in as well. "Of course you may, royal mother," she answers, gesturing that the other woman should sit. "I do love cantelope, but should I sent for something for you?"
"Thank you, young princess," the woman smiles warmly, slipping gracefully to take an offered seat. She smoothes the light fabric of her... cloth or it would be better say - scarf, before fixing the gaze back on Madalyn, "However, the Onimoria herself sent me here from the Kingdom of the Clouds not because I should eat and enjoy your mundane pleasures like drinks or food. I am here to fulfill the will of Onimoria, young girl."
The woman leans back in her seat, still smilling warmly. She pats the place beside herself, offering Madalyn to take a seat close, "You know, you should have been cold Onimoria."
Madalyn takes a piece of canteloupe from the plate as she sits next to Nimoria. "You really think so? I doubt I could have lived up to such a namesake. I'm not a goddess."
"Your are not the Goddess, yes. But who said, that the names of Gods can't be used by simple mortals, who are following the lead of these Gods and, who are ready to fill the wills of their Gods?" Nimoria smiles warmly and raises her hand to wrap around the shoulders of the young princess, if allowed. Her grasp is so motherly. Maybe Madalyn was even never huged as warmly by her own mother, as she is now. The Royal Mother straightens a bit, just to be able to place a peck on Madalyn's forehead, once again, if allowed, "Do you know, that Onimoria can see everything, what is happening in the mundane world? She looks at you very often and even she is surprised by the way how you two are similar..."
Madalyn relishes in the attention, leaning into the warm embrace. There is a bright smile on her face after the little peck of a kiss. "She does? You would think watching me sew and listen to my tutors would be quite dull to a goddess, but then I wouldn't think a goddess could be surprised either. I wonder what it's like there."
Nimoria can't hold her chuckles, when the young girl is so excited about all this attention, "Oh, it is very beautiful there. I have never seen more beautiful gardens than Marguerite has. I have never seen more beautiful and more bigger castle than Onimoria and Lotingus has. Everything looks unreal, like from dreams there. Just... you can touch everything and you understand, that all this is real..." The young woman sighs, taking one of the pale curls of Madalyn in her hands, starting to brush it gently with fingers, "Onimoria has almost the same curls, just... Hers are shinning so brightly, that it is almost impossible to look at her."
Then she tucks the strand of hair behind Madalyn's ear, whispering, "I do hope, that you are visiting the temple of Onimoria at least twice per week. After all, if not her sacrifice, you wouldn't exist, your mother, your family, your kingdom would never exist. Do you remember her sacrifice? It's mentioned in the religious books."
Madalyn listens with rapt attention, her eyes wide with imagined wonder. "It sounds wonderful," she murmurs dreaming, as Nimoria talks, her smile growing only brighter as the woman plays with her hair. "My tutors and handmaidens would never let me forget to go. I am always grateful for what the goddess did for our kingdom, and for letting me have a place in it. I guess I should start being grateful for her sending you to us, too."
"Ah, princess Madalyn," Nimoria whispers, "Do you know, what is the best gesture of gratefulness for our Onimoria? There is nothing more important than the believer, who follows his destiny. Because at the end, Onimoria will be able to meet that believer in the Gardens of Marguerite. You have no idea, how Onimoria wants to meet you. She had wonderful dreams about you. You will play the main role in her plans. Do you know what are the goals of our Patron?"
However, not waiting for the pale girl's answers, another pale young woman continues, "Our Kingdom is the little paradise on Earth. Almost as wonderful as the Gardens of Marguerite. However, other three Kingdoms are lost. Onimoria can't see the pain and darkness, which clouds these other Kingdoms. The Felaguria must become the Kingdom of Onimoria. Then we will be able to bring the true faith for others, we will be able to bring light and peace. Onimoria won't be able to do that without you... That is why I came here. To guid you to the right path."
The woman fixes her warm gaze on the young girl, reaching to take her hand and squeze gently.
Madalyn's eyes are wide with surprise. "She needs me? I can't even stop myself from disappointing mother. How am I supposed to unite all of Felaguria into the Kingdo of Onimoria?"
"My little girl, you won't disappoint Onimoria. She saw everything, and I am here to help you. Together, we will do it," Nimoria gently pats the hand of Madalyn, if she lets. The woman keeps her gaze fixed on the young girl's.
"Onimoria loved Lotingus with all her heart, but she understood, that she couldn't be with him. She had to follow her destiny. True love is a gift for these, who do not try to trick their destiny, trying to bypass some challenges. That is why she gracefully came to the mundane world, leaving Lotingus in the Kingdom of the Clouds. She adapted, she united the isles into the Kingdom. She married a simple mortal, whom she didn't love at all. She gave birth to your ancestor, that you could exist and the creation of the Artist wouldn't be destroyed. Just when she fulfilled her task, she was, finally, allowed to come back home to the Kingdom of the Clouds, where she was gifted with happiness and true love - Lotingus."
Nimoria's corners of the lips jump up a bit, curling into even more warm smile, "Your destiny matches Onimoria's. You will have to marry a man, you don't love, just because he has the right blood. Mixture of his and your blood will bring prosperity and glory to the goal of Onimoria. You will give birth to two very special children. You will give birth to twins. One boy and one girl. The moment, when you will give birth, your husband will die. Your baby boy will become King of Two Rivers. Your baby girl will become the Queen of the Isles. You will be mother of the future King and Queen of the Kingdom of Onimoria. You will become free the moment you will give birth to these special children and you will be gifted with peace, happiness and true love. You will marry the man you love, you will bring more children to the world with him, and you will watch how your children grow and live, like Onimoria is watching you."
The female inhales deeply, before continuing proudly, but still warmly, "The baby boy will manage to take over the Kingdom of Estoria. The baby girl will manage to take the Kingdom of Golden Lion. Then your children will marry each other and Kingdom of onimoria will be created. You just need to meet your husband with grace, with smile, and with knowledge, that you are creating the Kingdom of Onimoria."
Madalyn listens carefully to the explanation, unable to hide her disappointment when told she can't marry for love. She breaks eye contact, letting her gaze fall to her lap. "I see ..." she responds quietly. "Even Onimoria thinks I am silly to wish to follow my heart." After a moment, she looks up again, her eyes sad but composed. "So I am to marry King Barret, then?"
"Come here, little girl," Nimoria extands her hands for Madalyn, if she would like to have motherly warm hug one more time, "Nobody thinks, that you are too silly to wish to follow your heart. As I said, Onimoria had to marry man, who she didn't love, just in order to be with Lotingus later. The same will happen to you. You will marry the King Barret. However, your marriage won't last long. Just enough time to give birth for the twins. After that moment your heart will be free and you will follow it. You will marry the man you will fall in love with. You will be free to do anything your heart desires. Though, you need to take this unpleasant turn before getting your reward."
If Madalyn slipped to hug Nimoria, she will squeeze the girl and brush her hair now, "I will be always beside you. You know, there are no reasons, why King Barret wouldn't agree. We already talked with Lord Ralph. That is why you need to prepare. Soon he will be going home, and we will go with him. We will take our own ship. I will be there for you - to guide you in the darkness. Dutchess Debrah Kiari will travel with us too. She will be your mother there, if you will need someone's shoulder to lean your head on. I am sorry to tell this, but your mother is feeling not well and she can't go with us. And of course, we will have Guardians of Onimoria with us. So, prepare, young girl for your destiny and task. Also, from now I am asigning you two female Guardians of Onimoria, who always will be with you everywhere, even inside your chambers. However, when you will go somewhere, four guardians of Onimoria will join you. Though, the man usually will remain outside your room. Just because of property. So, you will never be alone anymore, because there is no more valuable person in the world right now than you are. And I promise, I will never leave your side too!"
Madalyn is quite eager for another hug, wrapping her arms around the other woman and resting her head against her shoulder. She squeezes even tighter when the woman promises to never leave her side, before finally letting go. "I will do my best for Onimoria, Royal Mother."
"I knew, that you will! You are a very clever girl, very pretty girl, and you have the kindest heart..." Nimoria places a long peck on the girl's head, brushing her hair carefully, "And better that man treats you like the Queen or I will have to tear his skin from his body, while he is alive!" The woman chuckles, plaicng another peck on the young princess' head.
