Late at night a small group reached the Gates of Deavel, looking slightly deranged. It took some reasoning with the guards to persuade them to open the gates for them, after it became clear the three men, one ahorse and two on foot, were foreigners, and according to their own words members of the Two Rivers Delegation. The rider seemed badly hurt, bleeding from at least two wounds, while on the two others, commoners obviously, some bruises here and there showed as well.
The small group were led to the inn they are staying in immediately, while word was sent to the Royal Guest House. Two men emerged from there and paid the inn a visit, shortly after. They did not return till three hours later, but when they did they reportedly looked weary and displeased.
Whether there is a connection to an incident in the village of Piradin where two Islanders were killed and one was severely injured, needs to be seen. But then again,... people getting killed at Piradin isn't really surprising news. It happens there every day.
